Am I disloyal?

Wednesday, January 19, 2011

Today, I'm meeting with a jeweler here in Baton Rouge, and I feel like I'm cheating on my other jewelers in Anderson. I just need some help is all.

I hope to get my creative juices flowing with someone who can execute what I have in mind. This really could be a match made in heaven: I come up with the ideas, then someone does the work. This is excellent. Except I have to pay, which is not excellent.

I have to say, one thing I'll miss about Anderson forever is the cheaper than cheap prices.

I'll keep you posted on my time with my new jeweler. He says he likes people with different ideas! I think we'll be fast friends.

Exciting things coming to Cherche'! Will post jewelry soon!

I do not think you are disloyal. It is hard to conduct business over several hundred miles. It is stressful and adds to the cost of doing business.

I think we will be fast friends for sure. Like people who come up with the ideas and I do the work.

Whitney, everybody has a piece of the wisdom. The problem is getting everyone together to make a big piece of wisdom. Not everyone is willing to share. It is kind of like the story of Babel.

Go to bed tonight and erase from your mind the barriers that keeping you from being successful. They are all mental and can be left behind. If you choose.

It was a pleasure meeting you today and looking forward to working with you.

This is EXCELLENT, indeed. I'm excited...you are out there on a new adventure, and you are always welcome back here to share with us your findings, creations, and treasures! And if all else fails, I think there are always booths to rent at the Jockey Lot..just a thought. ;)
