My lucky charm

Andrew and I had our annual football rivalry this past weekend! It was so fun, and we say, "whatever happens, happens." This is until we're in the stadium, and the hype gets to both of us. We love our teams; I bleed purple and gold, he bleeds orange and blue (this is true despite me putting on his gmail status that HE bleeds purple and gold!) I played a few more tricks on him; it's all in good fun.

I'm pleased to show the before and after photos of "the football matchup of 2009":

One of these days my team will lose to AU. It hasn't happened yet since I've known him though. I told Andrew that he's my good luck charm!

Speaking of good luck charms, I was in good ol' Auburn antiquing, and I saw a gold LSU charm bracelet from 1937! I had to take it home to Baton Rouge with me. After all, it didn't belong in AU! Who would want that in Auburn anyway? I thought about selling it, but I just can't. This is one of the few pieces that I've got to keep for myself.

Just for the record, if you see me at football games, Auburn or LSU, I'm probably wearing some of my merchandise. Ask me about them if you're interested! I've sold things that I was wearing before! Just don't ask about my LSU charm bracelet because that-I'm keeping.

I do NOT like the after picture... that damn game. I'm still mad about it. Just thinking about it makes me hate it...
